TRIESTE, 5 October 2021. ISI President Flavio Roda and Friuli Venezia Giulia Governor and President of the Conference of Regions Massimiliano Fedriga met today in Trieste.
Federal Councillors Gabriella Paruzzi and Enzo Sima were also present, as was Maurizio Dunnhofer, President of FISI FVG and of the EYOF 2023 Executive Committee.
The conference was an opportunity to discuss the new protocol for the reopening of ski resorts, recently drawn up by the Federation in collaboration with all the entrepreneurial and associative stakeholders tied to the world of mountain activities.
They also talked about the organisation of the next edition of the EYOF, which will be hosted by Friuli Venezia Giulia in 2023. Other topics discussed were the snowboard World Cup races in Piancavallo and the future programmes of the World Cup.
“The meeting was pleasant and fruitful,” Roda said at the end of the meeting. “Fedriga took note of the Federation’s positions and shared their spirit, with a view to revive a sector that suffered greatly last season. Friuli’s history and tradition are closely linked to winter sports and many of our athletes come from this specific region. Our collaboration can be nothing but strong and long-lasting”.
